UVA Health increasing telemedicine for emergency services CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The University of Virginia Health System is using a $1.5 million grant to increase telehealth for paramedics treating stroke patients in rural communities. "Nowadays, we've got intervention for stroke that can change people's outcome, but those are time critical," said Dr. George Lindbeck.
